Why is the Suno video just a still cover?
Suno's MP4 is the song playing over its cover art. Nothing moves and there are no lyrics on screen. That's normal — every Suno video download looks like this.
Suno's MP4
- One still picture for the whole song
- No lyrics on screen
- Easy to scroll past on TikTok or Reels
A lyric video from SunoMV
- Lyrics appear line by line, in time with the song
- A picture for each line, in the style you pick
- Vertical or wide, ready for TikTok, Reels, Shorts and YouTube
It's not one click: you see every step and can change anything. Previewing is free (3 songs a day as a lyric video). Storyboard pictures and exporting the video need a paid plan.

Questions
Can I download a Suno song as MP4?
Yes. Paste the link and choose MP4 video. It's the same file Suno makes: the song with its cover art. It plays anywhere and you can upload it to YouTube or TikTok.
Why is the downloaded Suno video only a still cover?
That's how Suno makes its videos — one picture over the whole song. If you want moving pictures and lyrics on screen, make a lyric video from the same link.
Do I need to sign in?
No. Downloading needs no sign-in here and no Suno account. You only sign in to SunoMV if you go on to make a lyric video. We never ask for your Suno password.
Can I get an MP3?
Public Suno links no longer hand out the MP3 file, so the audio comes as M4A. It plays on every phone, computer and video editor. If you really need MP3, any audio converter switches it in seconds.
Which links work?
Song links (suno.com/song/…), short share links (suno.com/s/…) and the share text you copy from the Suno app. The song has to be public.
Is it free? Can I use the songs anywhere?
Downloading is free. Use the files for songs you made or have the rights to — Suno's own terms decide how a song can be used commercially.
