How to Remove Vocals from a Song
Upload your song
Drop an audio or video file. Videos are converted to audio right in your browser.
AI separates the vocals
The AI model splits the lead vocals from the music. A typical song takes about a minute.
Download both tracks
Preview the instrumental and the acapella, then download each as an MP3.
What People Use It For
Karaoke and singing practice
Sing over the original backing track at home, at a party or for a cover video.
Remixes and samples
Pull a clean acapella for a remix or mashup, or an instrumental to sample.
Learning and transcription
Hear the instruments clearly to learn a part, or isolate the vocals to work out the lyrics.
Want a karaoke video, not just the audio?
The karaoke video maker uses the same separation: lyrics light up word by word over the backing track, ready for TikTok, YouTube or a big screen.

How much does it cost?
20 credits for every started minute of audio, with a 40-credit minimum, so a 3½-minute song costs 80 credits. You see the price before you start, and the same file is only charged once.
Is it free?
No. Each separation runs on a paid AI model, so it uses credits. If separation fails, the credits are refunded automatically.
Which files can I upload?
Audio files such as MP3, WAV, FLAC and M4A, and video files such as MP4 and MOV. Files can be up to 200 MB and 15 minutes long.
What do I get?
Two MP3 files: the instrumental with the lead vocals removed, and the isolated vocals (acapella).
How clean is the separation?
Studio recordings with clear vocals come out cleanest. Live recordings, heavy reverb and backing vocals blended into the music can leave faint traces.
Can I turn the result into a karaoke video?
Yes. Open the karaoke video maker, add the original song and turn on Remove original vocals when you export. The lyrics stay synced word by word.
