SunoMV SunoMV

Suno Studio 2.0 is a browser DAW. It still exports audio — not a music video.

As of 11 September 2026: Suno shipped Studio 2.0 on 13 August for Premier subscribers — MIDI on the timeline, a wavetable synth, a beta chat bar, factory effects, and uncapped 32-bit/48kHz stem export. A finished session is still an audio file. Paste the public Suno song link into SunoMV when you need a lyric-synced cut.

Edit the notes. Then video the song.

Features

What Suno actually shipped on 13 August 2026

A Premier-only browser DAW, not a new song model and not a video exporter. The changelog is Henry Phipps's Introducing Studio 2.0 post.

MIDI on the timeline — the most-requested add

Official blog: import, record and edit MIDI on the timeline; play a controller or the typing keyboard; MIDI clips can also prompt a new audio generation. That is unique to Studio among typical DAWs.

Wavetable synth, effects, automation, chat bar

Factory devices include sidechain compression and convolution reverb. Draw automation curves. The chat bar (beta) can build instruments, vocals, plugins and presets. Plugin creation costs no credits at launch; a credit structure may come later.

Premier export with no cap, 32-bit / 48 kHz

Official copy: Premier subscribers export high-quality multitracks and stems from Studio without limitations. Help center: Chrome recommended, 768px minimum width, phones not supported, 4GB RAM and a SIMD CPU.

What the launch did not ship

A deeper DAW still returns audio. Shorts, Reels and TikTok still want a picture, captions locked to the beat, and a 9:16 crop.

Premier paywall, not a free row

Studio 2.0 is available to Suno Premier subscribers. Help center: Studio 1.x stayed open for a few weeks via “Open in v1”; Suno expected to deprecate 1.x in early September 2026. This page does not invent a Free or Pro Studio 2.0 row.

No vertical master, no lyric-synced cut

MIDI, stems and 32-bit export answer whether you can finish the mix. They do not export a muted-feed video. Distribution is a second production line.

SunoMV does not grow a Studio picker

The product reads a public Suno song URL — audio plus lyrics. Finish in Studio, share the song, paste the link. There is no “supports Studio 2.0” row to wait on, and the free path is not an mp3 upload.

Finish the song. Then make the video.

Honest path: mix in Studio 2.0 (or generate on the Suno row you already have), copy the public song link, paste it into SunoMV, preview the lyric-synced cut.

Use Studio for the notes you can now edit

MIDI lets you fix pitch and timing instead of regenerating the whole take. That is upstream. The feed still wants a picture.

Paste the Suno link, not a stem zip

SunoMV reads audio and lyrics from the song link. The free preview path does not start from a 32-bit multitrack dump.

Lyrics timed, scenes generated, preview free

Each line is timed to the beat and each section gets a generated scene, so the video still reads on mute. Watch the whole cut before you pay to download.

From a Studio 2.0 mix to a music video

Three honest steps. No Studio project import. No mp3-to-video promise on the free path.

  1. 1

Finish the song (Studio or the row you have)

Premier accounts can mix in Studio 2.0. Everyone else generates on the live Suno row — including free v6-mini. A keeper is enough.

  2. 2

Copy the public Suno song link

Open the song page and copy the share URL. That link is what SunoMV can actually open — not a .daw session and not a stem zip.

  3. 3

    Paste the link, preview free

SunoMV times each lyric line and generates a scene per section. Preview the whole video free, then export vertical or widescreen.

Who this launch is actually for

A named DAW is a headline. These are the cases where 13 August changes what you do this week.

Premier users who can now edit MIDI

Fix the sharp note instead of regenerating the take. Then still need picture, captions and a 9:16 export.

Accounts posting to Shorts / Reels / TikTok

Unlimited stem export does not post itself. The song you mix this week still needs a cut that can stop a muted swipe.

People who only have a hook so far

Write the verses first, generate or mix a keeper, paste the Suno link. The lyric generator gets you a verse–chorus–bridge before you open Studio.

Suno Studio 2.0, answered

What is Suno Studio 2.0?

Suno Studio 2.0 is Suno's browser-based generative digital audio workstation, launched 13 August 2026 for Premier subscribers. It adds MIDI on the timeline, a wavetable synth, a beta chat bar, factory audio effects, automation, advanced stem separation, and uncapped 32-bit/48kHz stem export.

Does a browser DAW replace the need for a music video?

No. A DAW answers whether the track sounds finished. A music video answers whether anyone stops. SunoMV covers the second test from a Suno song link — preview free.

How do I turn a Studio 2.0 mix into a video?

Share the finished song so you have a public Suno URL, then paste that link into SunoMV. The lyrics are timed to the beat and each section gets a generated scene. Previewing the finished video is free.
